Our signature events help to raise funds for park and recreation improvements throughout the City of Hermosa Beach. In addition, these events help to create a sense of community and provide enjoyable and safe activity venues for families.
 Movie in the Park
Friends of the Parks host a movie in Valley Park in August each year. A family-friendly movie is featured and the movie venue is filled with activities for children.
Pumpkins in the Park
Each fall, pumpkins and kids in costumes fill a local park. There are plenty of activities for the children and each child leaves with their very own pumpkin.
