The Hermosa Beach Friends of the Parks along with the City of Hermosa Beach hosted its fall family event, Pumpkins in the Park on October 18, 2008 at Fort Lots Of Fun Park at 6th St. & Prospect in Hermosa Beach. “The Friends of the Park’s fall family event featured a Halloween puppet show this year in addition to the pumpkin patch, treats and crafts – it was a fun day in the park that was attended by many neighborhood families.” said Beth Rohrer, FOP Board member. Local community groups such as HB Neighborhood Watch, Kiwanis, HB Moms Club and Starfish assisted FOP with the crafts and food.
